At the age of five, Sarah attended her first dance class in classical ballet. She is now trained in classical ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap and hip hop. Sarahís hard work and dedication to dance has been recognised through the reception of dance scholarships from Ringwood Ballet Group and Dance World Studios in 2007.

Sarah has performed in many productions, shows and festivals including the leading roles in Ringwood Ballet Groupís productions of Coppelia and Cinderella, performances for various charities including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Citizens Advice Bureau, Dance Cancer Initiative, and SCOPE Victoria. She was part of the Beatphonik crew which won the Australian Hip Hop Championships 2008 and also travelled to Las Vegas, USA in 2008 with Beatphonik to compete in the World Hip Hop Dance Championship. 1 ON 1: FUN STUFF

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I would go back to NYC: see some more Broadway shows, go to the top of the Empire State building, do lots of shopping, and of course go do dance classes!

What poster is currently on your wall?
I have some enlarged black and white photos of me from when I was younger put up. Also have lots of photos of friends on the wall and some promotional posters from Beatphonik gigs.

Name the weirdest place you have ever busted out a move.
While working on placement in hospital as a physio student I like to dance with the grannies! And they love it too.

If your dancing style could be a colour, what would it be and why?
Aqua because itís strong and vibrant.

Whatís the biggest, brightest and loudest item of clothing you own?
A pair of fluoro orange trackies I got for my birthday.

What was your first job?
Working at Riot Art & Craft... and Iím still there three and a half years later...

What other talents/hobbies do you have?
I like painting, singing, playing the piano.

What has been your most memorable dance experience?
Definitely in the top two would be winning the Australian Hip Hop Championships with Beatphonik after all the hard work we put into it. The second would be travelling to USA with Beatphonik and seeing how dance can bring people from all around the world together.
