Karens passion for Hip Hop began at a very young age and has created her style that she has today. Inspired in the early 90ís and by her older sister, Karen has a flavour succumbed by the styles of New Jack and olískool styles.

At 15, Karen bloomed into the dance scene as an individual dancer landing her opportunities to work with different people at nightclubs, corporate gigs and at festivals.

Karen has been part of several dance groups. In 2001, Karen became part of the Vikings crew member as one of the main choreographers in the group. Karen, never wanted to lose touch of her freestyle flow and hence entered freestyle battles:

• Round 1 ñ hip hop freestyle: 3 on 3 division ñ 1st place
• Burn City ñ hip hop freestyle: 3 on 3 division ñ 1st place
• Raw War with Hey Mama Crew ñ Hip hop Division ñ 1st Runner up

In 2005, Karen wanted to give what she didnít get, when she was younger. So then started to teach 3 young kids. From 3 young kids and 2 years later, Karen is now the founder of the award winning dance school of the west; KSTAR EVOLUTIONZ. Karen has successfully inspired and taught her students by evidently claiming State, National & International JR hip hop champions title and has made headlines on both TV and Local newspapers.

Karenís dance work includes: promotional for dance network, premier night club performances, danced for Israel the artist, Australian hip hop dance competitions, choreographed and directed 1st place hip hop dance pieces, performed at festivals, hosted Kstar events and many more.

After graduating Karen wishes to re-focus on herself as an individual dancer by training & to continue to inspire younger kids.

3-leaf clover tongue trick! I love performing arts: singing and acting. I love teaching. I enjoy watching creative dance pieces, shopping, listening to music, completing projects and watching it live!

What has been your most memorable dance experience?
Too many to mention Ex; Winning Jr division and snr division at both get krumpd (Kstar) and Groove Melbourne (Kstar and Bp) Heaps more!
