At age 11, Briana began to express her aptitude and affinity for dance, exploring an array of genres: jazz, funk, ballet, tap and hip hop. She completed VCE dance in 2007.

Recently, at 17, Briana underwent a gradual enlightenment. Starting to take dance more seriously, she began training weekly at United Styles, while simultaneously taking classes at The Space and Patrick studios Australia where her dancing, previously a hobby, transformed into a passion.

Her chosen style being Hip hop, she continued to develop her skills as a hip hop dancer, learning first hand from some of the best. Her hip-hop fate was sealed, when after auditioning she was recruited into the Beatphonik crew and became an official member in 2008.

At present Briana continues to develop and refine her skills as a dancer through training in different styles of dance.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Everywhere! But Iíd specifically want to go to Morocco, the U.S and Bahamas!

Blockbuster video but Iím always dancing EVERYWHERE!

If your dancing style could be a colour, what would it be and why?
Pastel blue describes a soft, fluent and smooth feel and Red would express vibrancy and forcefulness.

Hot pink Insight jacket

Sales assistant at Claude Díalbon

What other talents/hobbies do you have?
I Love music, I used to play piano. Drama/theatre - I do a little of bit of Acting, and I Used to play soccer.

What has been your most memorable dance experience?
Many memorable dance experiences, 2005 ìLose my breathî Jazz troupe, doing the International dancers workshop with Peanut and Roger Lee - as It gave me more exposure to the hip hop scene, where I was able to see where hip hop could lead me. And competing with Beatphonik at the Australian Hip hop championships this year!
